Since Phonak and Unitron are both owned by Sonova they share many of the same great features. If you are looking for true hands free calling with Android and iPhones, excellent sound processing, and long battery life with a budget friendly price tag, Unitron is the perfect solution. The 7s offer many of the same features as the 9’s but offer a lower cost. The 7s offer a great mix of technology and value.

HyperFocus

• HyperFocus can also be helpful for people who have difficulty hearing in noisy cars. The Vivante hearing aids feature a special "conversation in car" program that uses HyperFocus to focus on the voices of the people in the car, while reducing noise from the road and engine.

How does the remote fitting work for Unitron?

Unitron’s software allows for remote fine tuning with limited functionality.

1. Purchase the hearing aids.

2. Unitron Hearing Aids REQUIRE a hearing test before we can ship them.

3. Send us your hearing test and we will pre-program the hearing aids.

4. We can fine tune your hearing aids remotely after you receive them.

5. We provide ongoing support via video, phone, text, and email.

Unitron’s remote adjustments are sent to your hearing aids via an app on your phone. It works really well for most adjustments but does not provide the full “in-office-like” video sessions offered by Phonak and ReSound.

• Tech Level - 7 is Unitron’s advanced level.

• Optional Features:

  • R - Stands for Rechargeable (the smallest size)

  • RT - Stands for Rechargeable and Telecoil (a little larger)

  • 312 - Stands for size 312 battery (their non-rechargeable option)
