Our Personal thoughts:

While we absolutely love the Nexia 9s and think they are probably the best value on the market, we aren’t in love with the 5s. The 5s only have a 1 year warranty and just don’t offer enough noise reduction for the price. We highly recommend considering the 9s, or a Phonak, Unitron, or Signia standard level hearing aid instead.

Phonak’s remote fitting software is one of the best and easiest to use.

1. Purchase the hearing aids.

2. If you have a hearing test, send it to us (if not, no worries).

3. We’ll perform a hearing test using your new hearing aids.

4. We’ll customize your hearing aids via a zoom-like video call.

5. We provide ongoing support via video, phone, text, and email.

Understanding Naming & Optional Features

ReSound’s naming convention can be a little confusing, so hold on tight.

• Chip - Nexia is ReSound’s most current micro-processer.

• Tech Level - 5 is ReSound’s standard level.

• Models:

  • 60S - Micro RIE (receiver-in-ear) - Rechargeable (the smallest size)

  • 61 - RIE - 312 battery (a little larger)

  • 62 -Standard RIE -312 battery + Tcoil (largest size)

• We only list the 60S (smallest size and rechargeable) but if you want the 61 (battery version) or 62 (battery+Tcoil) just let us know.
