How does the remote fitting work?

If you already have a hearing test, great, send it to us and we will pre-program your hearing aids before we ship them to you. If not, no worries, we can ship you the hearing aids, help you connect them to your smart phone, and then perform a remote hearing test. The process works as follows:

1. Purchase hearing aids using insurance, financing, or with a card.

2. We’ll ship you your new hearing aids.

3. We’ll help you connect your new aids to your smartphone.

4. We’ll perform a hearing test using your new hearing aids.

5. We’ll customize your hearing aids via a zoom-like video call.

6. We provide ongoing support via video, phone, text, and email.

• Model - Audeo is Phonak’s small RIC (receiver-in-canal) that fits behind the ear.

• Chip - Lumity is Phonak’s most current mico processer. It’s very fast!

• Tech Level - 90 is Phonak’s premium level.

• Optional Features:

  • R - Stands for Rechargeable (the smallest size)

  • RT - Stands for Rechargeable and Telecoil (a little larger)

  • RL - Stands for Rechargeable, Life model. (waterproof but largest size)

  95% of what we sell is the smallest “R” model so that is all we list for sale on our website. The RT and RL are available upon request.
