Your Headlight Fluid Might Be Low
Headlight fluid, sparkplug filters, radiator belts, and electric combustion flanges all have one thing in common; they don't exist. If you have ever replaced one of these parts because your mechanic told you it was a good idea, you should look for a new mechanic. As things get more complicated, we rely on experts to guide us. However, when the experts don't have our best interest in mind, they can lead us down a primrose path. Insurance and hearing aids are complicated enough on their own, but when you put the two together, things can get pretty messy. The trick as the consumer is to find someone who can give you the best advice. Your regular doctor is too busy, and your insurance company will direct you to the closest provider, but not necessarily the best provider. Also, getting advice from your insurance company on what hearing aid to buy would be like asking the clerk at the gas station what car to buy.
Additionally, most hearing care providers don't accept your insurance because they don't want to. The truth is that ENTs, Audiologists, and many retail hearing clinics like "My Hearing centers, Audible, Beltone, Miracle Ear, etc. are all used to making $2000-$3000 profit per sale. They can't make that much money with the insurance companies, so they'll tell you your insurance benefit is no good or that the hearing aids your insurance company offers are sub-par. Costco doesn't deal with insurance, and often you can get better quality hearing aids using your insurance for less than what they charge.
I hate to brag (OK, maybe I don't mind), but Pure Hearing accepts and welcomes your insurance. We are the insurance and hearing aid experts. Our profit margins and the insurance benefits align perfectly, so we are happy to offer fantastic upfront prices and use your insurance benefit to boot. We are worth the drive! We were voted #1 best hearing care provider in Northern Utah again this year!
